Week 2: Cloud Service Models

  • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS)

Week 3: Cloud Deployment Models

  • Public, private, hybrid, and community clouds, decision factors

Week 4: Core Cloud Services

  • Computing, storage, networking in the cloud

Week 5: Introduction to Major Cloud Providers

  • Overview of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, service and pricing comparison

Week 6: Cloud Security

  • Best practices, identity and access management (IAM), compliance issues

Week 7: Managing Cloud Resources

  • Resource lifecycle, management tools, cost optimization

Week 8: Automation and Orchestration

  • Introduction to automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation

Week 9: Cloud Data Management

  • Cloud databases (SQL and NoSQL), data migration, backup and recovery

Week 10: DevOps in the Cloud

  • Role of DevOps, CI/CD in the cloud, containerization and Kubernetes

Week 11: Project Work

  • Capstone project implementation, instructor guidance

Week 12: Finalizing Projects and Course Conclusion

  • Project completion and presentation, key concept review, feedback
